The headlines screamed “Hockey mom’s expensive wardrobe”, “Your Extravagant ‘Pal In’ Washington” and “voters slam Republican hypocrisy”.  While the controversy raged over the prospective veep’s clothing bill, it hasn’t slowed down her campaigning. Her supporters and the GOP remain particularly unmoved despite rival presidential candidate Barack Obama scoring double digit lead in a recently conducted opinion poll.
