Wisconsin summit to be a major success

Is it essential to opt for a summit in the field of science especially in these trying times? Well, there may be differences of opinions but majority may nod for it if there is any urgency. The situation is same with the imminent summit named “Green Business – Unlimited Economic Opportunity” that is going to be held in Milwaukee at Midwest Airlines Center, 400 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the midwestern state in north central United States. It is going to be a three-day event and will commence officially from Wednesday.

Who will be the key speakers in the summit? There are indeed many and some of them are U.S. Rep. Dave Obey (D-Wausau), Gov. Jim Doyle, U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee) and Judy Ziewacz of the state Office of Energy Independence. It has to be mentioned that U.S. Rep. Dave Obey (D-Wausau) who is also a cardinal architect of the stimulus package will be a crucial speaker at the Renewable Energy Summit at the Midwest Airlines Center. Speaking on this, Art Harrington of Godfrey & Kahn, a coordinator of the event said, “We’re really thrilled because of his involvement with the whole package.”

On the other hand Bob Gilbertson, conference co-chairman and head of Wisconsin Technical College System Foundation said, “We’re very excited about the stimulus panels that have been put together at the summit.” “We’re going to have the top people in Wisconsin involved in that activity.”

It is better to mention here that this happens to be the sixth year of the conference and was primarily designed to increase awareness of renewable energy across the statewide system of tech schools. There is no doubt that the summit has been a major success and each event has witnessed greater number of audience. This success has led to the expansion of the summit as well and it is now organized by a group beyond the technical colleges. This includes Johnson Controls Inc., the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the American Society for Quality.
