According to Forensic Science Laboratory Director S. Mohan, who manages the Centre, 10 reports have suddenly been generated and for that reason the number is down to 42.

What are the police organizations doing therefore? The majority of the cases are being referred to the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnosis in Hyderabad. Who is mostly responsible for this pathetic situation? It is quite difficult to tell but the government negligence has played a big role undoubtedly.

Nonetheless, it is the same government (both Union and State) who ought to come forward and save the dying infrastructure from further collapse.
