Even though there were strong expectations from the very beginning, it feels good to state that the Indiana Commission for Higher Education has finally approved new programs for Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana’s community college system. It is to be noted that Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is Indiana’s only community college system, encompassing 23 campuses in 14 regions and has, at the moment, in excess of 120,000 students.

Truly speaking, the Indianapolis-based system has been approved to proffer a new associate of applied science in health care support, in addition to certificates in pharmacy technician, patient care, phlebotomy technician, therapeutic massage and electrocardiography, according to a news release.
