The Xbox Live Arcade release this Wednesday will feature NinjaBee's insect game Band of Bugs. Outpost Kaloki X and Cloning Clyde were the other two games released on Live Arcade by NinjaBee and have been well-received by the audience.

Users can choose to play a story-based campaign, skirmish or go on standalone missions. Gamers also have the option of playing through Elimination, Capture, Escape and Mission modes in the online version. Gamers can get the Band of Bugs for 800 Microsoft Points.

Microsoft said in a press release that the Band of Bugs was one of the few strategic games available on the Xbox Live Arcade. "Players will enjoy unlimited variety in their game play choices with Xbox Live Arcade's first ever free built-in level editor, which they can use to create custom maps and play with friends over Xbox Live," the company added.

The game will be available for download for Xbox 360 from 09.00 GMT on Wednesday 20 June.
