Mel B shocked at being dumped by Eddie Murphy, paternity test
Eddie Murphy made a startling announcement in an interview on Dutch TV. The announcement has come as a shock for former Spice Girl, Mel B.

In an interview on Dutch TV Murphy was asked if he was happy with Mel and he snapped back that they were not together anymore. He dropped another bomb by saying he was not sure if he was the father of her unborn child and would request for a paternity test after the child is born.

Mel B was allegedly not aware of the split and seemed shell shocked on being informed about it by close friends. The former Spice Girl was away in the UK when Eddie Murphy made the announcement. The announcement comes a day after Mel had made a statement that she was looking forward to spending Christmas with him. On being informed of the news she ahs said that she was aware of only a minor row they had and nothing more. She was allegedly more upset about his demand for a paternity test and has insisted that the child was Murphy's.

Mel B and Eddie Murphy started seeing each other barely two months after he divorced his ex-wife, Nicole, after seven years of marriage in June of this year. Close friends of Murphy have stated that his mother was instrumental in the breakup. She allegedly did not approve of Mel and suspected her pregnancy which came within a few months of their relationship.

Eddie Murphy is said to be seeing Tracey Edmonds now. Tracey is a film producer and the ex-wife of Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.

Mel B has a seven year old daughter with her ex-husband while Murphy is the father of five children with his ex-wife.
