LOS ANGELES - There could be trouble in Jolie-land after it emerged that the mother of newly adopted Pax Thien could come after Angelina and her millions. The three-year-old boy was adopted by Jolie earlier in the month, but she has faced criticism for a "fast-tracked adoption."

The News of the World reports that the mother may even want Pax back. "Our daughter is a heroin addict and she is a bag of trouble. Her life has been ruled by drugs since she was 16," said the boy's grandfather Chien. The latter is the signatory on the adoption papers.

The grandmother Nhan said she was delighted that her grandson is at such a good home, "But my daughter is very smart — and she is also very stubborn, wayward and difficult," she added. Pax is the son of a 29-year-old Dung, but the father is unknown. His mother is a heroin addict, her parents told the paper.

"When she finds out that a rich movie star has adopted her baby, she will go after Angelina Jolie for money and make trouble for her. She may even try to take the child back," said Chien.

Jolie has three adopted kids including Pax and a biological daughter with Brad Pitt
