Nicholas Cage becomes the father again
Oscar winning Hollywood star Nicolas Cage tasted the fatherhood for the second time when his 21 year old wife Alice Kim Cage gave birth to a baby boy in New York today.
This was announced in a press release issued by the actor's publicist Annett Woolf who also said that the mother and the child both are keeping good health. She further added that the parents have decided to name the new born as Kal-el Coppola Cage.
The 41-year-old actor who is also the nephew of the legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola won his Academy Award for best actor in 1995 for his performance in Leaving Las Vegas. Other notable films in which he played a leading part include The Rock, Gone In 60 Seconds, Adaptation and Moonstruck.
Nicholas Cage was previously married to singer Lisa Marie Presley and actress Patricia Arquette but both these marriages ended in divorce. He also has a 15-year-old son named Weston from a one-time relationship with actress Kristina Fulton. Cage met her latest wife in early 2004, she worked in a restaurant in Los Angeles where as a waitress. The couple got married in July last year and this is their first child.
