JAKARTA: A powerful quake rocked western parts of Indonesia today sending people running out of their homes and buildings. The quake measured 6.3 on the Richter scale at its epicenter and the authorities said some structures in southern Sumatra were damaged killing at least 50 people,a local TV station reported.
